SCOUT DURWOOD is a cabaret comedian, writer, director, and performer known for her high-octane musicality, sharp wit, and fearless visual storytelling. Her debut studio album, TAKE ONE THING OFF, was released on Blue Élan Records alongside a twenty-two episode digital series of the same name, which she wrote and directed. The series amassed over 275,000 views on YouTube and earned a nomination for Best Indie Series at the 2019 Streamy Awards.
Scout wrote and directed the feature-length
narrative visual album YOUTOPIA, which premiered at Outfest 2022 and received an Honorable Mention for the Grand Jury Prize for North American Narrative Feature. She turned heads as a series regular on MTV's breakout hit MARY + JANE (2016), executive produced by Snoop Dogg. The Hollywood Reporter called her performance "committed with gusto," Vogue declared her "brazen, brass," and the Los Angeles Times praised the show's "sharp satirical observations about stoner culture, celebrity, the
Silver Lake lifestyle, and female friendships."
Scout also starred in the unscripted series FUNNY GIRLS on Oxygen, and her thirty-minute musical comedy special is available on EPIX's UNPROTECTED SETS. She launched her career in New York City, where she became a celebrated fixture of the burlesque, cabaret, and queer nightlife scenes — earning nominations from the Huffington Post (20 Burlesquers to Know) and GO! Magazine's Nightlife Awards. Most recently, Scout starred as Mistress of Ceremonies in Spiegelworld's cabaret circus show THE HOOK at Caesars Atlantic City.
